Grammy Award Winner Randy Brecker to Perform at NBPAC

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- The New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC) welcomes world renowned jazz artist Randy Brecker for an intimate acoustic performance on September 9, 2022 at 8:00pm. Joining him onstage will be his wife, saxophonist extraordinaire Ada Rovatti. Rounding out the performance are Bill O'Connell on piano, Marco Panascia on bass, and Steve Johns on drums.

Tickets for this special event are priced at $40 and $50 and are available at www.nbpac.org.

Jazz trumpeter Randy Brecker has helped shape the sound of jazz, R&B and rock for over five decades. His trumpet and flugelhorn performances have graced hundreds of albums by a wide range of artists from James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen and Parliament/Funkadelic to Frank Sinatra, Steely Dan, Jaco Pastorius and Frank Zappa.

New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC) is located at 11 Livingston Avenue in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Designed to be the most compelling performing arts center in the region, NBPAC brings beloved playhouses together with new rehearsal studios and collaborative work-spaces. Through NBPAC, New Brunswick says “in with the new,” and their intriguing calendar of events reflects that. Axelrod PAC presents The Joni Project and Magical Mystery Doors

(DEAL PARK, NJ) -- Axelrod Performing Arts Center has a pair of great shows coming up in April. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the release of Joni Mitchell's 1974 album Court and Spark, The Joni Project will perform the album in its entirety, along with a selection of other Joni favorites, on Saturday, April 20 at 8:00pm. The following week, Magical Mystery Doors will perform classics from The Beatles, The Doors and Led Zeppelin on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 8:00pm.
