(TUCKERTON, NJ) -- On Saturday, March 22, 2025, the Lizzie Rose Music Room will showcase two exceptional up-and-coming blues bands: Bees Deluxe and Twisted Livin' in its intimate 70-seat venue, which is housed in a historic Victorian mansion. Showtime is 7:30pm.

Opening the evening is Twisted Livin', a New Jersey favorite, making their debut at the Lizzie Rose Music Room. The band is a Blues Power Trio from South Jersey formed in August 2021, playing blues covers and their own original music. This dynamic trio features Denny Shiffler on guitar, Bob Irwin on drums, and Will Keiter on bass, promising a unique blend of soulful blues and explosive energy.

Bees Deluxe is a modern four-piece blues band that honors the music of legendary artists such as Bees Deluxe, a British/American modern acid blues quartet based in Boston, will headline the event. Fresh from releasing their new album Smash Hits, the band returns to the Lizzie Rose Music Room after opening for sold-out shows with Mike Zito and Joanna Connor. Known for their original compositions and reimagined classics, Bees Deluxe has shared stages with blues legends such as Ronnie Earl, Matt Scofield, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Walter Trout, Roomful of Blues. The band are on the road celebrating the release of their latest album.

Blues Blast Magazine describes Bees Deluxe as "what might happen if Freddie King took a lot of acid then wrote a song with Pat Metheny and asked a strung-out Stevie Ray Vaughan to take a solo."

Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 at the door.  Tickets are available for purchase online. The Lizzie Rose Music Room is located at 217 East Main Street in Tuckerton, New Jersey. Free parking is available.

Hell-bent on their mission to bring the blues into the 21st century, Bees Deluxe pushes the limits, colors outside the lines of convention and bends the genre to create a sound that is distinct, highly musical and yet deeply respectful of the blues tradition.

Fronted and founded by British guitarist Conrad Warre, the band’s repertoire includes addictive originals, as well as fresh takes on tunes by artists ranging from Billie Holiday to Jimi Hendrix. Bees Deluxe has toured from Maine to Miami winning fans, amazing audiences and sharing the stage with headliners like: Ronnie Earl, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Mike Zito, Walter Trout, Joanna Connor, Matt Schofield, Roomful of Blues and David Maxwell.

Warre was in a high school band with Paul Kossoff, of the band Free. He toured Europe with Joe Jackson and The English Beat then moved from London to New York where he became a fixture on the stage at the legendary CBGB’s. In Boston, he formed Bees Deluxe to celebrate the music he fell in love with while touring and playing legendary London clubs like Rainbow Theatre, Ronnie Scott's, Dingwalls, The Music Machine and the Moonlight Club. Before forming Bees Deluxe he was Production Manager for Rykodisc the first music audio CD company in the States where he worked directly with Frank Zappa, Yoko Ono, Richard Thompson, David Bowie, Mickey Hart and others.

Carol Band is a classically trained pianist who was recruited while playing jazz in Boston’s club scene. She also writes tunes and wows audiences with her blazing harmonica solos.

Paul Giovine studied at Berklee College of Music and cut his chops playing rock and punk with The Darling Picassos and Trick Wallace in clubs and festivals all over the states. He is also a contemporary songwriter in his own right.

Bridging the chasm between the discerning connoisseur and casual blues fans, Bees Deluxe is equally adept at filling a dive bar dance floor or commanding a festival stage.

With a contagious enthusiasm, sense of fun and impeccable musicality, Bees Deluxe breaks all the rules and the blues are better for it.
