Lizzie Rose Music Room presents Professor Louie & The Crowmatix with the Woodstock Horns

(TUCKERTON, NJ) -- Professor Louie & The Crowmatix with the Woodstock Horns return to the Lizzie Rose Music Room on Saturday, August 17, 2024 to celebrate music from The Band & Bob Dylan. Aaron "Professor Louie" got his nickname from Rick Danko due to his work and friendship with The Band. Doors are at 7:00pm, showtime is 7:30pm.

This GRAMMY-Nominated Woodstock, NY group play 150 shows a year in the US and worldwide. They have performed at the Thunder Bay, London & Windsor Festivals in Canada, The Tondor Festival, Falcon Ridge Festival, The Sellersville Theater, PA - BB Kings in NYC, - The House Of Blues in LA - The Sportsmen's Tavern, Buffalo, NY, - The Bearsville Theater, Woodstock, NY and many more venues....Professor Louie has performed twice on The Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise.

Professor Louie & The Crowmatix and the Woodstock Horns celebrate the Music Of The Band  The repertoire is steeped in Rock 'n' Roll, Blues, Gospel and American Roots music. The band began as the studio backing band for Aaron Professor Louie's musical productions & collaborations with the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees, The Band.

Professor Louie & The Crowmatix have been inducted into Blues Hall Of Fame, New York Chapter and hold a permanent place in the Canada South Blues Museum. Professor Louie is the recipient of The Robert H. Chambers Award for Excellence in the Traditional Arts from Common Ground On The Hill.

Tickets are $45 in advance and $50 at the door.  Tickets are available for purchase online. Lizzie Rose Music Room is located at 217 East Main Street in Tuckerton, New Jersey. Free parking is available. Lizzie Rose Music Room is a "listening room", not a bar or restaurant.  They present a variety of music including blues, jazz, bluegrass, country, rock, soul, singer-songwriters, and more.
