(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The Light of Day Foundation is celebrating the 25th Anniversary of WinterFest 2025, the annual music festival taking place January 15-25, 2025 in Asbury Park, Red Bank, Montclair, NJ and New York City. Jesse Malin will perform in New Jersey for first time in two years joining an already powerful lineup including John Rzeznik, Brian Fallon, Brian Baker, Pete Steinkopf and LOD stalwarts Dramarama, Joe Grushecky & The Houserockers, Willie Nile, Tangiers Blues Band w/ Danny Clinch, The Weeklings, James Maddock, Joe D'Urso, Williams Honor, Adam Ezra and many more.
A few punk and alt rock legends who call the Jersey Shore home will collaborate to honor Jesse Malin. Brian Fallon, Brian Baker and Pete Steinkopf have conspired to play a set of songs appropriate for the evening.
Malin is fighting back from a spinal stroke he suffered on May 4, 2023 that left him paralyzed from the waist down. He recently began performing again, most notably a pair of benefit concerts at the Beacon Theatre (December 1-2, 2024).
Limited FestPass packages that include entry into all shows are still available. “What an honor to be a part of Light of Day again this year,” said Danny Clinch. “It has become an international community event in Asbury Park. I love the idea of people coming together to help others. The Transparent Clinch Gallery is ready to host some LOD shows again this year. I will never forget when Joe Grushecky invited me to sit in on harmonica with the Houserockers and Bruce Springsteen for a nine-minute version of ‘Pink Cadillac’. I immediately went straight to Rock and Roll Heaven!”
