Jules Shear is someone you may not know by name, but likely know his songs. Songs of his were hits by artists like Cyndi Lauper ("All Through The Night"), The Bangles ("If She Knew What She Wants"), and in my area Tommy Conwell and the Young Rumblers ("If We Never Meet Again"). So I had heard of the guy when I saw his CD in the store.
This is a very interesting album and one that definitely isn't for the mainstream. But for me, it had a good vibe and we played it a lot in college. It's like experimental folk tunes.
