Jackson Browne is a singer-songwriter who came out of the Los Angeles scene in the early 1970s after writing a few hits for bands like The Eagles and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Some of the best singer-songwriter records of the 1970s are by him, imo.

Jackson Browne was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
