(BRICK, NJ) -- If your local playlist has been feeling a little quiet lately, get ready to crank the volume! Ocean County spoken word poet and Hip-Hop artist Chris Rockwell is back, celebrating the 10th anniversary of his pivotal album Rockwell Rebel Radio and simultaneously dropping his new release, Rockwell Rebel Radio 2 DELUXE, featuring the explosive lead single "Mash Tape Supreme." But this isn't just your standard album drop, it's a full-blown community movement. On Friday, November 6, 2026, Chris and the crew are celebrating the launch with a massive show right here in town at Carmela's Collective in Brick, proving that great music and solid community support go hand in hand.
What makes this event extra special is that not only is it organized and powered by Rockwell's own newly launched non-profit, NJ AMP Alliance, it’s a mutual aid concert designed to directly support two other incredible local non-profits: The Nook in Toms River and Dignity Suds and Duds. Both organizations are on the front lines providing free food, laundry supplies, and essential resources to neighbors who need them most. Admission to the show is completely free and open to all ages, so all you need to do is bring your energy and a few donations of food or laundry supplies to help restock their shelves.
The music lineup for the night is stacked from top to bottom, featuring high-energy sets by Liz Starre, Nick Nubz, Dana Mercer, TheLuvK4n, and Chill Smith, all leading up to a headlining performance by The Chris Rockwell Collective. Expect raw talent, awesome local vibes, and an unforgettable crowd coming together for a great cause. Grab your friends, gather up some donation items, and come out to Carmela’s Collective on November 6th to celebrate the new record and give back to our town!
