
(SPRING LAKE, NJ) -- South Street Players presents the 16th Annual Tri-State Theatre Festival from November 6-8, 2026. Produced by Rob Sullivan, the festival showcases the best new short plays written by local writers from New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
This year's festival includes "The Journey" by Rob Sullivan; "Fairy Tale Fail" by Joel Trinidad; "Third-First Person" by Alex Dremann; "Everything's So Expensive Lately" by Susan Bachner; "Z-A-K" by Gianna Barberia; "The Man from West New York, NJ" by Matthew J. Kaplan; "The Bench" by Darcy H. Sternberg; and "If Ever I'd Divorce You" by Loretta Bolger Wish.
The festival takes place Friday, November 6 at 7:30pm; Saturday, November 7 at 7:30pm; and Sunday, November 8 at 2:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. Performances take place in Wesley Hall (4th and Mercer Streets) in Spring Lake, New Jersey.
These performances serve as a fundraiser, with proceeds helping South Street Players maintain their commitment to producing high-quality, engaging theatrical experiences this season & beyond.
