(LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ) -- Forget everything you think you know about a charity golf outing. Casey Webb, host of Travel Channel's hit series "Man v. Food," is coming to the golf course.
Webb will host the 3rd Annual Ruth Stage Invitational on Monday, October 12, 2026, at the private Cobblestone Creek Country Club in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, as New Jersey-based entertainment nonprofit Ruth Stage transforms its annual fundraising event into a "Man v. Food Edition."
The concept is simple: Take an Italian food festival. Add 18 holes of golf. Give Casey Webb a golf cart. And see what happens.
Throughout the day, golfers will encounter food and drink experiences across the course, including a cannoli truck, chicken parm slider station, Bloody Mary station and cocktails, before sitting down for a cocktail hour and an Old-World Sunday Gravy dinner.
And because this is the "Man v. Food Edition," Webb won't simply be standing around waving from the clubhouse. He'll roam the course, interacting with golfers and presenting food challenges and surprises throughout the day.
Then comes the Casey Webb Food Challenge.
Following dinner, the top two teams will each select a representative from their foursome to go head-to-head in a giant ice cream sundae eat-off. The first to finish wins the challenge and earns their foursome the ultimate prize: they play for free.

"I'm really excited to partner with Ruth Stage and host their 3rd Annual Golf Invitational Fundraiser: the 'Man v. Food Edition,'" said Casey Webb, host of Travel Channel's "Man v. Food." "If you love golf, supporting the arts and elevated food experiences, this event is the perfect match for you and your friends. It's going to be an Italian food-fueled, 18-hole feast that not only gets you on the greens for the day, but raises money for a great cause supporting the arts."
For Ruth Stage, the Asbury Park-based nonprofit known for being the first organization in the history of American theatre to stage Tennessee Williams' Pulitzer Prize-winning Cat on a Hot Tin Roof Off-Broadway, the Invitational represents a significant evolution of an annual fundraiser that has already enjoyed two successful editions.
"Ruth Stage is a universe," said Matt de Rogatis, Chairman and Creative Director of Ruth Stage. "Our fundraisers, much like our Off-Broadway and regional productions, are events. We don't set out to do anything conventional, and this will be a golf outing like no other. If it's not epic, we won't do it. Casey Webb is literally the perfect person to take everything we've built with the Invitational and make it bigger, wilder and completely insane."
Guests can expect premium food and beverage experiences, contests, prizes, entertainment and unexpected challenges throughout the course.
And the event's unofficial question?
CAN YOU SURVIVE THE DAY?
The Ruth Stage Invitational is one of the entertainment company's signature fundraising events, supporting Ruth Stage's continued programming and expansion.
The all-inclusive entry fee for the event is $300 per person and $1,200 per foursome.
