(SOUTH AMBOY, NJ) -- New Jersey internet radio station BlowUpRadio.com - Where NJ Rock Lives, announces its 19th annual Banding Together Webathon to benefit the Spondylitis Association Of America. Taking place Friday October 16th through Sunday October 18, 2026, on their internet radio station. Over forty acts from New Jersey and all over the globe will perform half hour performances, as they raise money to fund research and provide the programs and services to help the community suffering from this debilitating disease.
"When I started this benefit back in 2007, I was not sure enough artists would want to be involved to make this possible," says Lazlo, the founder of BlowUpRadio.com and the organizer of Banding Together, "Nineteen years later, and I am so grateful to the original music community for always coming together for this benefit, allowing me to pair my passion for music, with wanting to help worthy causes."
During Banding Together BlowUpRadio.com will have a link to a special donation page on the Spondylitis Association Of America’s website. Every donation of $20 or more will get an exclusive download of this year's compilation, featuring over forty songs, most of which are previously unreleased.
"I started doing the Banding Together benefits in 2007 after my wife was diagnosed with Spondylitis. There is little I can think of worse than watching a loved one in pain and being powerless to help," said Lazlo, "This benefit is something I can do to make a difference and raise money to help find a cure."
Spondylitis is a chronic inflammatory disease that causes inflammation and fusion in the vertebrae of the spine. To date, BlowUpRadio.com has raised over ten thousand dollars for the cause, and raised awareness of the genetic disease, which the Centers For Disease Control says affects more than 3.2 million adults in the US.
