(WESTFIELD, NJ) -- Westfield Community Players presents Morning's at Seven across three weekends from October 3-18, 2026. An American classic written by Paul Osborn, Morning's at Seven centers around four aging sisters and their families living in a small Midwestern town in the late 1930's.
What appears to be a simple story is nothing but as it deals with the ramifications within as two family members begin to question their lives & want to make changes before it is too late. While dealing with hidden resentments and unfulfilled dreams, it is also a heartwarming, touching, sometimes comical story about the true love & devotion of family.
The cast includes Alex Oleksij (Thor Swanson), Jackie Levine (Cora Swanson), Debbie Badal (Aaronetta Gibbs), Tara Spinelli (Ida Bolton), Allen Robert (Carl Bolton), Sharon McGuire (Ester Crampton), David Williams (David Crampton), Dale Monroe (Homer Bolton), and Amy Lewis (Myrtle Brown).
The production is directed by Greg Northam and produced by Linda Viel.
Performances take place October 3, 9, 10, 17 at 8:00pm and October 4, 11, 18 at 2:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. The theater is located at 1000 North Avenue W. in Westfield, New Jersey.

Westfield Community Players (WCP), founded in 1934, has brought more than 300 comedies, dramas, musicals and mysteries to life on their stage. All productions are presented in their own 150 seat theater on the corner of Edgewood Avenue and North Avenue West in Westfield. With their productions, they continue to be part of the active cultural scene in Westfield and surrounding communities.
WCP is committed to offering hands-on participation for those wishing to learn more about various aspects of live theatrical production and performance while providing a varied theater experience to a broad audience. They do that by actively seeking volunteers to keep their theater functioning, and by maintaining an open-casting policy where everyone can audition for all of their scheduled plays.
Since bringing home the Gold and Silver medals at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Laurie Hernandez has gone on to win the coveted Mirror Ball trophy on “Dancing with the Stars” Season 23 and her first book titled “I Got This: To Gold and Beyond” chronicling her journey thus far was published in 2017, hitting the New York Times Best Sellers list. In 2018, she released a children’s picture book “She’s Got This,” also a New York Times Best Seller, while serving as a Literary Champion to promote readership as a path to leadership, and Mattel created Laurie Hernandez “Shero” Barbie to honor her.
