(ROXBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- As summer winds down and the warm, crisp air of autumn arrives, New Jersey music fans will have one more chance to gather outdoors for a full day of live jam-band music, food, dancing and community. JAMTOBERFEST '26 takes place Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Swim & Sport Club in Flanders, NJ. Gates open at 12:00pm, with music beginning at 1:00pm.
The festival celebrates the spirit of legendary jam-band gatherings, with music inspired by the Allman Brothers, Grateful Dead, Phish and the artists who helped define the improvisational music scene.
Headlining JAMTOBERFEST '26 is A Brother's Revival, featuring David "Rook" Goldflies, former bassist of the Allman Brothers Band, and Mike Kach of Dickey Betts & Great Southern. The band brings the powerful guitars, harmonies, soulful vocals and extended improvisational jams associated with the Allman Brothers sound, performing songs that have become staples of American rock and the jam-band tradition.
The festival also includes performances by Touch of Grey, Divided Sky, and Animal Instincts. Beyond the music, JAMTOBERFEST '26 will feature food trucks, a Beer & Spirits Tent, merchandise vendors, dancing and open space for festival-goers to relax and enjoy the day.
Online tickets are $39. Day-of tickets are $49. Tickets are available for purchase online. The Swim & Sport Club is located at 272 Emmans Road in Roxbury Township, New Jersey.
Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs and make a day of it. Pop-up tents up to 8' × 10' are welcome in designated areas.
The journey begins at 1:00pm with Animal Instincts, unleashing raw energy and fearless improvisation that sets the pulse for the day.
At 2:00pm, Divide Sky take the stage, weaving expansive jams and melodic storytelling that bridge the roots of classic jam bands with fresh creativity.
By 4:00pm, the vibe shifts into celebration as Touch of Grey honor the timeless music of the Grateful Dead. Heartfelt vocals, intricate guitar interplay, and joyful grooves transform the field into a dancing, communal celebration.
As twilight falls, the night belongs to A Brother’s Revival at 6:30pm.

The legendary Sun Ra Arkestra returns with exuberant cosmic jazz — a stirring blend of big‑band swing, free jazz, bebop, spiritual jazz and Afrofuturist spectacle. Formed in Chicago in the mid‑1950s as the vehicle for the visionary composer Sun Ra, the Arkestra has spanned seven decades, touring the globe and inspiring generations with its bold, otherworldly sound.
A pioneer of early synthesizer use and the free‑jazz movement of the 1960s, Sun Ra combined musical innovation with a spiritual mission—using positive vibrations and music to uplift the universe. The Arkestra’s theatrical live shows fuse space‑age improvisation, singing, dancing, chanting and Afro‑pageantry, and helped define Afrofuturism in music and performance.

Drawing on her background in jazz guitar and her Japanese heritage, she blends inventive harmonies, intricate rhythms, and bilingual lyricism into a sound that is both intimate and exploratory.
