(BEACH HAVEN, NJ) -- Surflight Theatre presents Ghost, The Musical from September 1-20, 2026. Based on the iconic 1990 film, Ghost, this romantic fantasy is brought to the stage, blending heartfelt emotion, gripping suspense, and supernatural wonder.
The story follows Sam Wheat, a successful banker, and Molly Jensen, an artist, who are deeply in love. Their lives are shattered when Sam is killed during a mugging. However, Sam’s spirit remains on Earth, discovering that his death was not an accident but part of a larger conspiracy. Molly struggles to process her grief, while Sam realizes the power of love and his unfinished business on Earth.
Ghost, The Musical captivates audiences with its blend of romance, humor, and enduring love. It features Book and Lyrics by Bruce Joel Rubin; Music and Lyrics by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard. It is based on the Paramount Pictures film written by Bruce Joel Rubin.
