(MORRISTOWN, NJ) -- Classic musicals and beloved Broadway stars are coming to the Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) stage this season! MPAC's touring Broadway lineup features the Morristown premieres of hit musicals Waitress, Meredith Willson's The Music Man, Mystic Pizza and The Who's Tommy. MPAC will celebrate its 32nd season on September 18th with a special concert by popular Broadway star Jessica Vosk. Broadway stars coming to MPAC this season include legendary Tony Award winners Audra McDonald, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Bernadette Peters.

Friday, September 18 at 8:00pm - Season 32 Opening Night Celebration: Jessica Vosk. Celebrate MPAC's season opening with Jessica Vosk, best known for her dynamic performances in Wicked, Hell's Kitchen, and Beaches, and celebrated concert appearances including Carnegie Hall. She has also built a devoted social media fanbase through her hilarious street interview show "Vosk In The City." Vosk had an unconventional journey to Broadway, beginning her career on Wall Street before taking the leap of faith to pursue her dreams on stage. Friday, October 16 at 8:00pm; Saturday, October 17 at 2:00pm & 8:00pm - Meredith Willson's The Music Man. Meredith Willson's six-time, Tony Award-winning musical comedy The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef.
