Brian K & The Parkway's new single, "Roses & Kerosene," features a soulful duet with acclaimed singer-songwriter Lilly Hiatt. The song is the title track for their upcoming album.
“I loved singing this with Brian and the boys,” said Hiatt. “Beautiful melody and sentiment; let [“Roses & Kerosene”] light your heart ablaze.”
"When Stephen asked who we should contact about singing the duet, Lilly was the first person I named,” said Brian K & The Parkway singer-songwriter and guitarist Brian Pagels. “I've loved her songs and voice since her Trinity Lane record, and figured why not just shoot for the moon?"
The single marks the final preview track before the full album release on September 4th. Fans can pre-order the album now on Bandcamp.
The band will support the release with a tour throughout the Mid/east, tour info and tickets.
