(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band return to The Stone Pony on Saturday, August 1, 2026. The band has been delivering their patented good time rock 'n' roll for more then 50 years now. This is an all ages show; doors are at 6:30pm.
Hailing from Rhode Island, the band quickly adopted New Jersey as their other home while becoming one of the hottest east coast circuit bands in the ’70s. JCBBB frequented top Jersey Shore venues including the Fastlane, Big Mans West, The Stone Pony and Tony Mart’s in Somers Point.
John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band burst on to the national scene in the 1980s, with the Eddie and the Cruisers movie and soundtrack. The fictional band Eddie and the Cruisers (actually JCBBB) that they portrayed in the film was ranked by Rolling Stone as one of the 25 Greatest Movie Rock Bands.
The band is still revered by critics and fans as one of the top live rock shows. Their shows are generally a good time rock ‘n’ roll marathon loaded with Cafferty hits, fan favorites, and plenty of R&B classics. The band is currently touring behind their first new studio album in 37 years, Sound of Waves. The Stone Pony has long been JCBBB’s NJ home.
Tickets are available for purchase online. The Stone Pony is located at 913 Ocean Avenue in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
