(WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ) -- An online petition has been launched advocating for a dedicated Brian Wilson exhibition at the Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music. The initiative aims to honor and preserve the monumental life, artistry, and legacy of the legendary musical pioneer.
Organized by music historian and archivist Katie Webb, founder of the cognitive health initiative Good Vibrations for a Cure, the petition calls on the Bruce Springsteen Archives to celebrate Wilson's profound contributions to the American songbook and his enduring global impact.
"Brian Wilson's legacy is central to the story of American music," said Webb. "An exhibition at an institution as prestigious as the Bruce Springsteen Archives is a vital step in ensuring his creative genius and historical impact are permanently preserved and celebrated for future generations."
Members of the public, the music community, and fans are encouraged to support the advocacy effort. The formal petition can be viewed and signed online here.
The petition is actively gathering signatures from music historians, archivists, and fans worldwide who share the vision of securing a physical space to honor Wilson's legacy.
The Bruce Springsteen Center for American Music recently opened on the campus of Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey.
