(OCEAN GROVE, NJ) -- Howell PAL Theater Company presents the classic musical Grease weekends from July 10-12, 2026 at the Jersey Shore Arts Center. Grease is a love song to the 1950s and a cornerstone of the American musical comedy form.
Often recognized as one of the most famous musicals ever written, Grease follows the high school romance between Danny Zuko, a cool greaser, and Sandy Dumbrowski, a sweet, wholesome girl, who reconnect after a summer fling when Sandy unexpectedly transfers to Danny’s school, Rydell High.
Danny struggles to maintain his tough image in front of his friends, causing friction with Sandy. As they navigate peer pressure, teenage cliques, and identity, both make changes for each other. The story ends with Sandy’s bold transformation and their joyous reconciliation, celebrating youth, love, and self-expression.
Performances take place Friday, July 10 at 7:00pm; Saturday, July 11 at 2:00pm & 7:00pm; and Sunday, July 12 at 2:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. The Jersey Shore Arts Center is located at 66 S. Main Street in Ocean Grove, New Jersey.
Grease features a Book, Music & Lyrics by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey.
