(WEST WINDSOR, NJ) -- Join Horton the Elephant, the fun-loving Cat in the Hat, and other Dr. Seuss favorites in a vibrant musical for audiences of all ages when Theater to Go presents Seussical: The Musical at the Kelsey Theatre on the West Windsor Campus of Mercer County Community College, across two weekends from June 5-14, 2026.

In Seussical, the Cat in the Hat tells the story of Horton, a kind, compassionate elephant who discovers a speck of dust that contains the Whos, including Jojo, a Who child sent off to military school for thinking too many "thinks." Horton faces a double challenge when he protects the Whos while caring for an abandoned egg, left in his care by Mayzie La Bird.

Even as Horton navigates a series of obstacles, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community emerge triumphant.

Following performances on Broadway, Off Broadway, U.S. national tours, and London's West End, "Seussical" is now one of the most performed shows in America and is making its Kelsey Theater debut. Weaving together treasured Dr. Seuss stories into a fun, touching tale about friendship, loyalty, and believing in yourself, the production is perfect for families and audiences of all ages.

Performances are Fridays at 8:00pm, Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00pm. Tickets are $26 for adults and $24 for seniors and students and are available for purchase online or by calling the Kelsey Box Office Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to noon, at (609) 570-3333.  Kelsey Theatre is located on Mercer County Community College's West Windsor Campus (1200 Old Trenton Road) in West Windsor. Kelsey Theatre is wheelchair accessible, with free parking next to the Theatre.

The cast of Seussical features Erin Looney, Lorena Buena-Looney, Patrick O'Leary, Lucinda Fisher, Sydney Broitman, Jaylen Stanley, A'Maziin Williams, Sean Gavin, Alex Search, Anthony Wurtz, Brian Wurtz, Roman Sohor, Jenny Weiner, Hannah Barudin, Kacey Cavalieri, Aubrey Malakoff, Juliana Davies, Ethan Shaev, Jessica Braynor, Carson Graham, Brandon Brumet, Reba Holley, Kennedy McMillan, Aadya Mehndiratta, Ariana Nunez, Chris Schmalbach, James Zimmerman, Evelyn Braynor, Leanna Collins, Alisha Mehndiratta, Rafaella Mousa, Charlotte Rasmussen, and Melody Weiner.
