(TENAFLY, NJ) -- ACC Gallery presents "Echoes over the Hudson" from May 5-23, 2026. The exhibition brings together a dynamic group of contemporary Korean artists working across the New York Tri-State region.

The exhibition presents a wide spectrum of artistic practices that reflect the evolving experiences of artists navigating between cultures, cities, and identities within today's global art landscape.

Featuring works in painting, sculpture, installation, photography, and new media, the exhibition highlights artists whose practices engage themes of migration, urban experience, memory, hybridity, and contemporary visual language. Rather than framing Korean identity as fixed or singular, the exhibition explores how cultural identity is continually reshaped through movement, translation, and lived experience.

Stephanie Soyoung Moon

New York has long served as a critical nexus for international artistic exchange. For many Korean artists based in the region, the city functions not only as a physical location but as an active conceptual environment where personal narratives intersect with global contemporary discourse. The works presented in Echoes Across the Hudson reveal a vibrant network of artistic voices shaped by this shared yet diverse context.

The exhibition title suggests resonance and connection across distance. Like echoes traveling across water, these artists' works carry layered cultural memories while generating new forms of expression within the present moment. Together, they form a compelling snapshot of Korean contemporary artistic practices unfolding across the New York region today.
