EVENT EXPERIENCE AND HISTORICAL PROGRAMMING

This once-on-a-lifetime spring event will honor both the 250th anniversary of the United States and the history of New Jersey's wine industry.

Set within the State Capital Complex, just miles from Washington's Crossing, the event takes place near one of the most significant sites of the Revolutionary War.

Guests will experience live Revolutionary War reenactments and historical interpretations from Washington's Crossing Historic Site and the Old Barracks in Trenton.

An authentic encampment will be staged on the War Memorial's front lawn, including appearances by George Washington and Continental Army soldiers. The event will open with fife and drum performances, followed by opportunities for guests to engage with historical interpreters while enjoying wine tastings throughout the venue.

Participating wineries are encouraged to incorporate the historical theme into their presentations, creating an immersive cultural experience for attendees.

The Garden State Wine Growers Association looks forward to hosting a historic celebration that brings together New Jersey's wine community and the spirit of America's 250th anniversary.
