Photo and video submissions will be accepted until June 2nd

originally published: 04/14/2026

Middlesex County's popular photo contest, Picture Middlesex County, is back for the spring season, inviting residents to showcase life and nature across Middlesex County through photography — and, new this year, videography. Submissions will be accepted until Tuesday, June 2, 2026. The winning photos and videos, selected by a panel of judges, will be publicly displayed at future County events and featured in marketing materials.

"As we officially enter the spring season, the Picture Middlesex County contest is the perfect opportunity for residents to step outside and capture the beautiful locations, communities, and moments that make our County special," said Middlesex County Commissioner Director Ronald G. Rios. "I am excited to see this season's submissions and encourage everyone to participate, especially with our new addition of video submissions. It allows us all to come together as a community to celebrate what's unique and inspiring about Middlesex County through the lenses of our very own community."

Who Can Enter: The contest is open to amateurs and professionals of all ages, from youth to adults. Participants aged 17 and under require a parent or guardian's consent on the entry form.

How to Participate: Photos and videos must be taken within Middlesex County, New Jersey, during the contest timeframe. Each participant may submit up to two photos or videos (every 30 seconds or less) per category from March 24 through June 2, 2026.
