(NEW YORK, NY) -- Selections from The Rock Musical Soul Searching In Concert takes the stage next Monday, February 23, 2026 in The Loft at City Winery. Doors open at 6:00pm, showing is 7:00pm. This musical is a unique burst of pop rock energy that follows a successful attorney living on New York's Upper West Side as she embarks on a comedic and ultimately poignant search for her elusive soulmate with the help of her married friends, all engulfed in relationship challenges of their own.
Created by Matt Okin & Avi Kunstler, this special performance features a stellar cast from Off- Broadway and acclaimed national tours with a live rock band -- and it highlights twenty+ numbers from this entirely sung-through show, now in active development for New York.
On stage at The Loft will be: Ilana Schimmel as 'Brenda', Esti Mellul as 'Sara', Leora Lerner as 'Rachel', Hannah Bonnet as 'Becky', Michael Perez as 'The Date Shifter/Michael', and Keith Weiss as Rabbi Perl, along with the musical/vocal arranger Ben Shanblatt on guitar, Tom Brody on bass, and bandleader Collin Couvillion on drums.

City Winery's 'The Loft' is located at their flagship space on Pier 57, is an intimate space just upstairs from their main NYC room, which has become a hotbed for comedy, music and conversation events since its inception in 2020.
Next up from Black Box Studios and City Winery is WRITERS & ACTORS ON THE HUDSON, on Monday, March 9th at The City Vineyard, 233 West Street/Pier 26, feat. new writing from Neil Labute, Ken Levine, Daniel Handler, Dan Lauria, and others as well as special appearances by Michael Sorvino, Abigail Hawk, Danielle Ferland, and Mr. Lauria himself along with more great talent.
