NJPAC presents Tango After Dark

(NEWARK, NJ) -- Tango After Dark is hot, hot, hot! International tango superstars and World Champions Germán Cornejo and Gisela Galeassi, along with a cast of eight dancers, bring the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) debut of Tango After Dark on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 7:30pm.

You’ll fall in love with the company of tango superstars who swirl, shimmer and smolder across the stage, led by Cornejo. Featuring live music and set to the revolutionary compositions of Astor Piazzolla, this electrifying production captures the bold, seductive rhythms of Buenos Aires. 

Cornejo's innovative choreography fuses the rich traditions of tango with a contemporary flair, embodying the raw passion and precision that mesmerize audiences worldwide.

Tickets start at $78 and limited tickets are available for purchase online. New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) is located at One Center Street in Newark, New Jersey.
