(TUCKERTON, NJ) -- The Lizzie Rose Music Room presents Philadelphia singer-songwriter Tim Hause on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 7:30pm.  Mindful Melodies will open the night.

For the bulk of his musical career, Tim was best known in the context of his older brother, Dave Hause. They toured the world together for a decade, with Tim harmonizing, playing guitar and keyboards and then co-writing the last 4 of Dave’s records.  But now he's touring in support of his own record, Pre-Existing Conditions.

As Dave describes, “this record is a quantum leap forward for Tim on every front- the singing, the playing, the production, and most importantly, the songs. Tim did a lot of work to them before I even heard them, and I did as much staying out of the way as I did adding little ideas in order to let him see his vision through.”

Alongside producer Will Hoge, Dave helped orchestrate a studio cast that best supported Tim’s songs.  “Tim has been a fan of Alkaline Trio since he was a little kid, and they’ve been dear friends of ours for decades. When I asked him what he wanted the rhythm section to sound like, he said ‘Alkaline Trio’. So, I called Dan and Atom and that was that.”

Despite his fraternal tie to the music industry, Tim has explored a musical life on his own accord having opened for Will Hoge, Joe Pug, Rhett Miller, Tall Tall Trees. It is this immersion in the art of the song that fuels Tim to tell his own story. He says, “my life has been riddled with loss. Through the help of music, therapy, medication; and most importantly an incredible family unit, I have been able to cobble together a wonderful life in spite of events that could easily have been backbreakers if not for the village around me.”

Pre-Existing Conditions is a record rooted in loss but full of new life. Tim leaves his fans with the declaration, “make no mistake about it, this is a ROCK record. Any of the restraint that may have been shown on my first record was unleashed on this one, and I hope you love it as much as we do. It’s a celebration and a reckoning with the scars that make me who I am; an expedition through my own set of Pre-Existing Conditions.”

Opener Mindful Melodies blends mindfulness and music to create heart-opening, healing experiences through sound. Through original songs, intentional lyrics, and a rich mix of acoustic and rhythmic instruments, we guide people from stillness into joy, embodied expression, and shared presence—awakening creativity, awareness, and celebration through the power of sound.
