The Magic of Rob Lake: Live From Broadway comes to Carteret PAC

A Night of Grand Illusion, Wonder, and Theatrical Spectacle

originally published: 01/20/2026

(CARTERET, NJ) -- Fresh from a critically acclaimed Broadway run, The Magic of Rob Lake: Live From Broadway arrives at the URSB Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center for one night only on Saturday, March 14, 2026 offering audiences a rare opportunity to experience magic as a true theatrical event - immersive, uplifting, and filled with unforgettable wonder. Showtime is 7:30pm.

For generations, audiences have been drawn to the thrill of live magic - the moment when something impossible unfolds right before their eyes. On March 14, that sense of awe comes to life in Carteret as The Magic of Rob Lake: Live From Broadway takes the stage in a bold, modern production that blends large-scale illusion with storytelling, emotion, and spectacle.

Rob Lake is widely regarded as one of the leading illusionists of his generation. His performances combine technical mastery with theatrical presentation, creating moments that feel both intimate and epic. At the Carteret PAC, towering illusions, sweeping visuals, and carefully paced storytelling will come together to form an experience that appeals to families, theatergoers, and longtime fans of live spectacle alike.

Unlike many magic shows, The Magic of Rob Lake unfolds as a complete theatrical journey. Each illusion draws audiences deeper into a world where imagination takes center stage. From breathtaking levitations and large-scale transformations to moments of interactive sleight of hand, the production emphasizes wonder and emotional impact. "I want audiences to fully feel and absorb the moment," Lake says, "not rush past it."

Tickets range from $42.50 to $72.50 and are available for purchase online. Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center is located at 46 Washington Avenue in Carteret, New Jersey.

Lake's connection to magic began early in life and has shaped everything he brings to the stage today. Over the years, he has become known not only as a performer, but as one of the most in-demand architects of illusion, designing, engineering, and refining original effects through decades of hands-on innovation. That lifelong dedication has led to collaborations across the entertainment world, with his work featured in major productions including Adele's Las Vegas residency, Walt Disney Imagineering projects, Sesame Street Live, the Harry Potter global philharmonic concert tours, and multiple major Broadway productions.

A wider audience discovered Lake through his appearances on America's Got Talent, where his performances reached more than 80 million viewers within weeks, introducing his style of grand, theatrical magic to fans around the world. Onstage, however, his work takes on an even greater impact - unfolding live, without edits or digital shortcuts. "I perform magic for your senses," Lake explains. "What you see is real, happening right in front of you."

Over the course of his career, The Magic of Rob Lake has sold millions of dollars in tickets through sold-out performances in more than 60 countries worldwide. Yet at its heart, the show remains focused on something simple and universal: the joy of experiencing something extraordinary together.

Blending the excitement of classic magic specials and big theatrical nights -while presenting them through a contemporary lens, The Magic of Rob Lake: Live From Broadway delivers exactly what audiences are craving: a shared live experience filled with surprise, emotion, and wonder. March 14 at the Carteret PAC promises to be a night audiences will be talking about long after the curtain falls.

URSB Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center is a multi-level, flexible space venue featuring a lower-level comedy/jazz club with a piano lounge; a main floor concert/comedy and entertainment space with luxury theater-style seating that can be easily removed to accommodate a variety of events such as expos, weddings, dinners, and more. The upper-level VIP seating includes VIP Box Suites, private VIP spaces, and a spacious second-floor lobby with a baby grand piano. The rooftop lounge, decorated with high-end furnishings, fire pits, heaters, and bars, boasts its own stage and private cabana-style seating for dining and enjoying the sunset.
