(CINNAMINSON, NJ) -- Burlington County Footlighters presents Calendar Girls by Tim Firth weekends from January 23 through February 7, 2026. It is based on the true story of eleven Women's Institute members who posed nude for a calendar to raise money for the Leukaemia Research Fund.
When Annie's husband John dies of leukemia, she and best friend Chris resolve to raise money for a new settee in the local hospital waiting room. They manage to persuade four fellow Women's Institute members to pose nude with them for an "alternative" calendar, with a little help from hospital porter and amateur photographer Lawrence. The news of the women's charitable venture spreads like wildfire, and hordes of press soon descend on the small village of Knapeley in the Yorkshire Dales. The calendar is a success, but Chris and Annie's friendship is put to the test under the strain of their newfound fame.

Performances take place Friday, January 23 at 8:00pm; Saturday, January 24 at 8:00pm; Sunday, January 25 at 2:00pm; Friday, January 30 at 8:00pm; Saturday, January 31 at 2:00pm & 8:00pm; Sunday, February 1 at 2:00pm; Thursday, February 5 at 8:00pm; Friday, February 6 at 8:00pm; and Saturday, February 7 at 8:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. The theater is located at 808 Pomona Road in Cinnaminson, New Jersey.

Calendar Girls (Chichester Festival Theatre, West End) broke all British records for a professional and amateur play, was nominated for an Olivier and won the Whatsonstage Best Comedy Award.
