(ENGLEWOOD, NJ) -- The Actors Fund Home is entering a significant next phase, having recently been classified as a 501(c)(3) and affiliate of the Entertainment Community Fund, supported by a newly formed Board of Trustees. This Board, led by Lee H. Perlman, Executive Vice President of the Greater New York Hospital Association, is committed to continuing the Home's phenomenal services to performing arts and entertainment professionals.
Located in Englewood, NJ, the Actors Fund Home is a short-term rehabilitation and long-term care facility for workers in the entertainment industry, including designers, writers, sound technicians, musicians, dancers, administrators, directors, film editors, stagehands, actors and more. It provides outstanding services to those in the performing arts and entertainment community in need of skilled nursing, assisted living, memory and short-stay rehabilitation.

This new chapter is additionally amplified by the support and formation of an Honorary Council of the Home, who are committed to continuing the legacy of exceptional care and service provided to residents. The Honorary Council is led by Brooke Shields (President of Actors' Equity) and consists of Cory Booker (United States Senator for New Jersey); Chris Christie (Former Governor of New Jersey); Richard Codey (Former Governor of New Jersey); Jon Corzine (Former Governor of New Jersey); Patrick Diegnan (Former New Jersey State Senator); Donald DiFrancesco (Former Governor of New Jersey); Josh Gottheimer (United States Representative for New Jersey); Gordon Johnson (New Jersey State Senator); Thomas H.
