Ballet Arts and Patisserie Florentine present: The Nutcracker Sweet & Sugar Plum Tea Party Festive Fundraiser Benefiting the Adelphi Orchestra

(RIVER EDGE, NJ) -- Step into the magic of the season as Ballet Arts partners with Patisserie Florentine to present The Nutcracker Sweet & Sugar Plum Tea Party—a delightful holiday celebration filled with music, confections, and Nutcracker-inspired charm. The event takes place Friday, November 28, 2025, at Patisserie Florentine (242 Closter Dock Road) in Closter, NJ, with two seatings: 3:30pm–5:00pm and 5:30pm–7:00pm.

Perfect for children, families, and the young at heart, this whimsical event transports guests to the Land of Sweets—no flight to France required!

All proceeds benefit the non-profit Adelphi Orchestra that is bringing live music to Ballet Arts' production of The Nutcracker taking place Saturday December 13th at 7:00pm and Sunday, December 14th at 2:00pm at River Dell High School in Oradell, New Jersey.

Ballet Arts, located in Emerson, is one of New Jersey's premier and most respected dance studios, proudly training dancers for more than 50 years. 

Patisserie Florentine brings the flavors and charm of France to New Jersey with French-inspired breakfast, brunch, and lunch fare. Chef and Owner Tomer Zilkha and his team pride themselves on small-batch baking, locally sourced ingredients, and a commitment to sustainable, high-quality craftsmanship. The patisserie also offers baking classes for children and adults both at Bergen Community College and at the Closter location.

Guests are invited to dress up and enjoy an enchanting afternoon featuring:

* An array of festive French pastries and seasonal treats

* A hands-on take-home treat-making activity with a professional instructor

* Photo opportunities with the Sugar Plum Princess

The Adelphi Orchestra is a professional, non-profit ensemble celebrated for its symphonic, chamber, operatic, choral, and dance concerts, led by principal conductor Maestro Kyunghun Kim for over 70 years.
