From its humble origins as a London Fringe theater production, to its meteoric 1975 rise, fall, and eventual resurrection as an art house darling, Strange Journey: The Story of Rocky Horror gives the viewer inside access to the original's principal creators, including writer Richard O’Brien, producer Lou Adler, and star actors Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon and many more.
While midnight screenings of the original continue in theaters around the world, giving it the status of "the biggest cult film of all time,” come find out in Strange Journey how its goofy aura of goulish good times is still supplying like-minded communities with a safe haven to dress up, act out, and just plain have fun. The good news is you won’t have to stay up past midnight to see it!
The screening is sponsored by Wally's Surf City.
