(LOVELADIES, NJ, NJ) -- Lighthouse International Film Society presents a screening of Strange Journey: The Story of Rocky Horror on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Long Beach Island Foundation of Arts & Sciences. The screening begins at 7:30pm.

Or the reasons it remains a bonafide pop culture sensation with its transgressive themes, iconic performances, and epic mix of musical comedy and horror?
Join them on October 23rd to find out when Lighthouse International Film Society screens a new documentary, Strange Journey: The Story of Rocky Horror, taking us on a fascinating dive into this cult classic's creation and the phenomenal longevity of its success.

From its humble origins as a London Fringe theater production, to its meteoric 1975 rise, fall, and eventual resurrection as an art house darling, Strange Journey: The Story of Rocky Horror gives the viewer inside access to the original's principal creators, including writer Richard O’Brien, producer Lou Adler, and star actors Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon and many more.
While midnight screenings of the original continue in theaters around the world, giving it the status of "the biggest cult film of all time,” come find out in Strange Journey how its goofy aura of goulish good times is still supplying like-minded communities with a safe haven to dress up, act out, and just plain have fun.
