(OLD BRIDGE, NJ) -- Main Street Theatre Company presents The Secret Garden: Spring Version across two weekends from October 18-26, 2025. This 90-minute version of the beloved musical captures the beauty and spirit of the original in half the time. Featuring Music by Lucy Simon, Book and Lyrics by Marsha Norman and Based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
Orphaned in India, 11-year-old Mary Lennox moves to Yorkshire to live with her reclusive uncle Archibald and his disabled son Colin. The estate holds many wonders, including a magical garden that calls to the children with haunting melodies. Guided by the "Dreamers"—spirits from Mary's past—the story unfolds into a compelling tale of forgiveness and renewal.
Performances take place Saturday, October 18 at 8:00pm; Sunday, October 19 at 3:00pm; Saturday, October 25 at 8:00pm; and Sunday, October 26 at 3:00pm. Tickets are available for purchase online. Main Street Theatre Company is located at 70 County Road 516 in Old Bridge, New Jersey.

Main Street Theatre Company was founded over 25 years ago by a group of Sayreville High School graduates who shared a common vision of bringing high quality community theater to the greater Middlesex Community. The group has performed hundreds of theatrical productions between full scale plays and musicals, 45 KidWorks Theatre for Children productions, 6 original works, as well as 3 NJ “premiere” productions.
