(LEONIA, NJ) -- The Players Guild of Leonia will hold auditions for Blithe Spirit on Monday, October 27 at 7:30pm; Tuesday, October 28 at 7:30pm; and Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 10:00am. This is a delightfully witty comedy by Noël Coward. Auditions will take place at the theater (130 Grand Ave.) in Leonia, NJ. The production will be directed by Glenn Woertz.

Dust off your crystal ball, polish your planchette and rehearse your best ghostly entrance. Prepare to summon your inner medium, maid, or mischievous ex.
Character Breakdown
*BRITISH ACCENT REQUIRED* - a Middle-class British Accent (Received Pronunciation) will be expected.
Edith* – A hapless, slightly gawky maid. Age 20–35.
Ruth* – Charles’ second wife. A smart, stylish, no-nonsense woman in her mid-30s.
Charles* – A nice-looking man, about 40. Urbane, witty, with a dry sense of humor.
Dr. Bradman* – A pleasant, middle-aged man. Practical and amiable.
Mrs. Bradman* – Middle-aged, fair but somewhat faded. Proper, polite, and conventional.
Madame Arcati* – A medium. Striking, eccentric, and vibrantly unusual. Her dress leans toward the exotic, with a touch of the barbaric. Could be anywhere between 45–65.
Elvira* – The mischievous ghost of Charles’ late first wife. Attractive, playful, and capricious. Appears to be in her 30s to early 40s.

2026 Jersey Shore Young Playwrights Festival to Take Place April 25th
(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- Stargazer Performing Arts is proud to announce the plays and playwrights for the 2026 Jersey Shore Young Playwrights Festival. This is the second year for the festival which showcases original plays written by students ages 13 to 18.
