(TOMS RIVER, NJ) -- The Ocean County College Repertory Theatre Company will perform Dracula from October 17-19 and 24-26, 2025 in the Black Box Theater at the Grunin Center for the Arts, located on the main campus of Ocean County College in Toms River.  This thrilling new adaptation by Steven Dietz restores the suspense and seduction of Bram Stoker's classic novel to the stage.

As Count Dracula begins to exert his will upon the residents of London, they try to piece together the clues of his appearances in a valiant attempt to save themselves from a hideous fate. Filled with tension and drama, this play paints a wickedly theatrical picture of Stoker’s famous vampire.

Directed by Paul Chalakani, the cast includes Brendan Keffner (Renfield), Taylor Frisco (Mina), Hope Kobus (Lucy), Matt Pritchet (Harker), Zachary Pich (Seward), Jeff Bodnar (Dracula), Charles Sullivan (Van Helsing), Sophia Gallegos (Vixen/Maid), Tess Nunan (Vixen/Maid), Zach Zabarsky (Attendant), Dave Robbins (Attendant), and Sean Collins (Attendant)

Performances take place Friday, October 17 @ 7:30pm; Saturday, October 18 @ 2:00pm & 7:30pm; Sunday, October 19 @ 2:00pm; Friday, October 24 @ 7:30pm; Saturday, October 25 @ 2:00pm & 7:30pm; and Sunday, October 26 @ 2:00pm.Tickets are $24 adults, $22 seniors. Under the direction of Performing Arts Program Chair Paul Chalakani, the mission of the OCC Repertory Theater Company is to create opportunities for college and community participation in various rich and diverse theatrical experiences. The OCC/REP provides OCC students, faculty, staff, and residents of neighboring communities the opportunity to attend and/or participate in quality performances of theatrical works – musicals and plays, classical and modern, traditional and experimental, through a well-balanced theatrical season. Additionally, the OCC/REP provides an environment for students of our performing arts program to apply what they are learning in a collaborative and encouraging format. The OCC/REP celebrates the power of the theatre to illuminate and mirror the human experience.
