McCarter Theatre Center Launches 35 and Under Tix

Patrons ages 16-35 can now access special pricing all season long

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- McCarter Theatre Center continues to deepen its commitment to accessibility with the launch of 35 and Under Tix, a new program designed to make world-class theater, music, and dance affordable to younger audiences. Patrons aged 16–35 can now purchase tickets for just $35 to select performances throughout the season.

“The arts are for everyone,” said Martin Miller, McCarter Executive Director. “35 under 35 gives youth and young professionals throughout Central New Jersey an easy path to an affordable ticket to extraordinary theater, music, dance, comedy, and more all season long.

To purchase, patrons can enter the promo code 35TIX before selecting seats online. Tickets must be picked up at the box office beginning one hour prior to curtain with a government-issued ID verifying age and matching the purchaser’s name. Full-time college and graduate students with valid school ID are also eligible.

McCarter’s new 35 and Under ticket program adds to the company’s rapidly expanding access commitments through its Stage Door Access program, which offers scholarships for youth to educational camps and programs, free and discounted tickets for qualifying schools to student matinees, free tickets to clients of dozens of local non-profit organizations, and $1 tickets for SNAP and Work First New Jersey recipients at every performance in the season.

Limit two tickets per production; all ticket holders must qualify and present ID; zone restrictions may apply. No refunds or exchanges. Offer subject to availability.
