(PRINCETON, NJ) -- Princeton Makes, a Princeton-based artist cooperative, and Ragged Sky Press, a local publisher focused on poetry, will host a Second Sunday Poetry Reading on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 4:00pm.  The readings will take place at the new Princeton Makes store in the Princeton Shopping Center.  The new store is located between Princeton Nassau Pediatrics and Rita's.

The September reading will feature poetry by Peter Dabbene and Ruth Ramsey.  Their readings will be followed by an open mic available to up to 10 audience members who would like to read their original poetry.

Peter Dabbene is a longtime Hamilton, New Jersey resident whose poetry and stories have been published in dozens of print and online literary journals. He has published the poetry/photo collections The Lotus Eater (and Other Poems) and Optimism, the graphic novels Ark, Robin Hood, and George Washington: Father of a Nation, the story collections Prime Movements and Glossolalia, and a novel, Mister Dreyfus' Demons. Other recent works include the Spamming the Spammers trilogy, three collections of exchanges with e-mail spammers, and Complex Simplicity, a collection of essays.

Ruth Ramsey lives in Skillman, NJ, with her husband Alan Ramsey. The many venues at which she has read her poems include Barnes and Noble (for Delaware Valley Poets); Poets for Peace; D&R Greenway; PSRC/CMAP; The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Princeton; and the sixteen launch parties of U S 1 Worksheets for volumes in which her poems have appeared. Ruth will read poems from her two new chapbooks: “Now Then” and “Effable Poems.”
