“Late For The Sky - Jackson Browne Tribute with Jake Thistle” pays tribute to one of the 20th century’s greatest folk/country/rock songwriters whose legacy is cemented in both the deep emotions his songs have stirred for fifty years and his unwavering determination and activism in trying to make the world a better place.
From crowd pleasing popular radio hits of the 1970’s and 1980’s to deep albums cuts from Jackson’s earliest releases, these timeless songs light up the stage as they are performed by Jake Thistle and his veteran band of New Jersey musicians who have performed with a Who’s Who of performers over the years on the road.
Some selections from “Late For The Sky” include “These Days”, “Jamaica Say You Will”, “Late For The Sky”, “The Pretender”, “Running on Empty”, “The Load Out”, “Somebody’s Baby” and many others!

Jake Thistle, a rising singer-songwriter and New Jersey native, is known for his lyricism and musical storytelling. With a sound that blends classic rock sound with a modern pop sensibility, he crafts songs that resonate with all audiences.
Being awarded multiple titles from Indie Boulevard and being named a “Rising Music Star” from The Boston Herald, Thistle has played for audiences all over the United States and Europe. Thistle has appeared on outlets such as CBS News, Variety, Billboard, American Songwriter Magazine, BBC Radio, The Record, WCBS FM, NYC's Q104.3 FM. Thistle has also assisted in raising over $100,000 in charitable donations to the American Cancer Society and the Light of Day Foundation.
With a deep connection to his artistry, Thistle has worked with acclaimed musicians like John Hiatt, Lou Pallo (Les Paul), Ron Blair and Steve Ferrone (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers), Jim Keltner (Bob Dylan), Earl Slick (David Bowie/John Lennon), Jeff Slate (Rolling Stone) and many other great musicians.
