(MILLVILLE, NJ) -- Applause: The Historic Levoy Theatre Documentary by ArtC will have its premiere on Friday, September 19, 2025 at the legendary venue along with an anniversary party.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire evening of the Cut International Film Festival with purchase of an Anniversary Party ticket. This performance is a rental and the party is a fundraiser.

Tickets are $90 per person and includes the party and admission to the screenings.  Tickets are available for purchase online.  The Levoy Theatre is located at 126-130 N. High Street in Millville, New Jersey.

Doors open at 6:00pm with the anniversary party held in the mezzanine from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.  The documentary screening takes place at 8:00pm and is followed by Group One screenings from the CUT International Film Festival.

Opened on January 9, 1908, expanded in 1912 and again in 1927, the Levoy Theatre followed a familiar arc over the next century. The original fare of Vaudeville and silent movies gave way, in 1939, to movies alone as the theatre became a Warner Brothers house.

In 1952 the theatre returned to local ownership and again became a house for music and theatre, although with declining attendance. By the 1970s the Levoy was a second run movie theatre in serious disrepair and was closed for safety reasons in 1974. In the mid-1980s several apartments were built on the second floor.

In 1995, local interest in preserving and restoring the theatre led to the creation of the Levoy Theatre Preservation Society. Today’s Levoy Theatre is state-of-the-art featuring high level productions and movie presentations.

We are always being watched, always being seen, always looking. But where are we? Who are we looking at? What are we seeing? Is it all a dream? Who’s dream is it? ‘Bottom feeders’ are the lowest form of species on the pyramid at the bottom of the deep, dark, and unexplored sea. Sometimes, if you pay attention, ‘bottom feeders’ take shape in the lowest form of human beings at the bottom of the deep, dark, and unexplored subconscious. Bottom Feeder is a black and white experimental film, shot on 16mm film in a square 4x3 format. Vito Trabucco is a Los Angeles based filmmaker, is known for his award-winning films Charlie Christ (2024), Britney Lost Her Phone (2023), and Kevin Can Wait (2020). In Bottom Feeders, Trabucco brings you on a dream-like journey with a woman, the aptly named Pageant (an uncommon name historically associated with theatrical spectacles), who by way of nature, explores her own dream and the meanings behind her visions, both in her head and what she sees. A front door, fractured. A home, for whom? A doll, draped in desire. A sunset, alone but for how long? A reflection, a gaze. A location, unknown
