(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary Stage Company's production of Jimmy Buffett's Escape to Margaritaville enters its final weekend of performances in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center. The musical, which opened on July 10th, concludes its limited run with performances from Wednesday, July 16 through Sunday, July 20, 2025.

With a book by Emmy Award winner Greg Garcia and Emmy Award nominee Mike O'Malley and music and lyrics by Jimmy Buffett, Escape to Margaritaville features several of the singer-songwriter’s most well-known songs including “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” “Fins,” and “Margaritaville.” The story follows Tully, a laid-back bartender and part-time musician at a tropical resort, who finds his life upended when he meets Rachel a vacationing career-minded tourist.

The production is directed by Lea Antolini-Lid, Assistant Professor of Theater & Dance at Centenary University and a longtime contributor to CSC’s Summerfest and Young Audience Series programming. Choreography is by Arianna Cacioppo, an NJ/NYC-based performer and educator with a background in ballet, jazz, and modern dance, who has appeared in previous CSC productions including Grease and The Little Mermaid. James Gerard Russo, a Centenary University alumnus with extensive performance and technical theatre credits at CSC, serves as Assistant Director.

Performances take place Wednesday, July 16 at 2:00pm; Thursday, July 17 at 7:00pm; Friday, July 18 and Saturday, July 19 at 8:00pm; and Sunday, July 20 at 2:00pm. Tickets range from $29.50 – $35.00 for adults with discounts available for students and children under 12 on select dates.
