The Ritz Theatre Company presents "The Wizard of Oz"

(HADDON TOWNSHIP, NJ) -- The Ritz Theatre Company presents The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum weekends from July 11-27, 2025. Based upon the Classic Motion Picture, it was adapted by John Kane for the Royal Shakespeare Company and features Music & Lyrics by Harold Arlen & E.Y. Harburg.

"We’re off to see the Wizard!" This beloved tale, in which a Kansas farm girl travels over the rainbow to discover the magical power of home, has entertained audiences for generations… and now comes to The Ritz for the very first time.

Follow the Yellow Brick Road in this delightful stage adaptation of L. Frank Baum’s celebrated children’s story, featuring the iconic musical score from the classic MGM film. The timeless tale, in which young Dorothy Gale travels from Kansas over the rainbow to the magical Land of Oz and back again, continues to charm and captivate audiences of all ages around the world.

Performances take place Friday, July 11 at 8:00pm; Saturday, July 12 at 8:00pm; Sunday, July 13 at 2:00pm; Friday, July 18 at 8:00pm; Saturday, July 19 at 3:00pm & 8:00pm; Sunday, July 20 at 2:00pm; Wednesday, July 23 at 7:30pm; Friday, July 25 at 8:00pm; Saturday, July 26 at 8:00pm; and Sunday, July 27 at 2:00pm.

Tickets are available for purchase online. The Ritz Theatre Company is located at 915 White Horse Pike in Haddon Township, New Jersey.
