(LEONIA, NJ) -- The Players Guild of Leonia will hold auditions for Where The Time Goes on Tuesday, July 15 and Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm each night at their theater. This is a World Premiere musical featuring the iconic songs of The Baby Boomer Generation.
The musical follows Amy and Michael’s lives together from the innocence of their 6th grade dance to the political turbulence of the 60’s; from the Summer of Love and Woodstock to the Vietnam War and the Feminist Movement. Revisit, and revel in the empowering, unforgettable and enduring folk, pop and rock music that defined a generation.
Where The Time Goes is by Michael Bias and Victoria Casella. The production will be Directed by Michael Bias; Musical Direction and arrangements by Victoria Casella.
Please prepare a 2–3 minute monologue (sides will be available) and 32 bars of a rock or folk/rock song from the ‘60s or ‘70s. Please bring sheet music in correct key. Accompanist will be provided.
Auditions will take place at The Players Guild of Leonia, located at 130 Grand Avenue in Leonia, New Jersey.
First Rehearsal: September 15th. Show Dates: November 14, 15, 21, 22 @ 8:00pm, November 16 and 23 @ 2:00pm.
Cast Breakdown:
Michael: (40s - early 50s) High Baritone. Narrates his life story.
Amy: (40s - early 50s) Lyrical Alto. Michael’s wife. Narrates her life story.
Both Michael and Amy must be comfortable talking directly to audience
Young Michael: (20 - 30) Tenor
Young Amy: (20 - 30) Mix / Belt
Male Ensemble: (20 - 30) Versatile actor as he plays many roles. Bari-Tenor
Female Ensemble: (20 - 30) Versatile actress as she plays many roles. Soprano - Mix
