PettyBreakers Return to Strand Theater in September

(LAKEWOOD, NJ) -- Get ready for an electrifying night of classic rock as the PettyBreakers, "The World's Greatest Tribute to Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers!" (AXS-tv), return to the Strand Theater in Lakewood, NJ on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 8:00pm.

Hailed as the ultimate homage to Tom Petty's timeless music, the PettyBreakers are renowned for their unparalleled talent and dedication to recreating the magic of the rock icon's greatest hits. From chart-topping singles like 'American Girl,' 'Free Fallin' and 'Refugee' to deep cuts that will thrill die-hard fans, the PettyBreakers deliver a high-energy performance that captures the essence of Tom Petty's unparalleled legacy.

Five other tribute shows are scheduled at the Strand Theater as part of a concert series. The Box Office is open two hours before every show.  The shows are appropriate for all ages.

Friday, September 26 at 8:00pm - Latin Legends - Tribute to Shakira and Selena. The two greatest Latin music artists of all time face off as renowned tribute bands Amor Prohibido - Tribute to Selena and Latin Loba - Tribute to Shakira engage in a musical showdown of the hits. Playing the part of Selena is Nira Perez, who is an absolute dead-ringer for Selena, both visually and vocally. She stuns fans with her resemblance, exact mannerisms and identical voice to Selena.

Sunny Haymes delivers an unforgettable Shakira experience by recreating the look, vocals and movements of Shakira.

Saturday, September 27 at 8:00 pm - Chicago 9 - Tribute to Chicago. Nationally acclaimed Chicago 9 Tribute Band is known as the 'Best' Chicago tribute band around. This 9-member group of talented, well-seasoned musicians from the Delaware Valley will excite fans with songs like 'Beginnings',  'Saturday In The Park',  'Feelin Stronger Everyday'  and many more of the greatest hits from the Chicago song book.

Saturday October 11 at 8:00 pm - Tupelo Honey - Tribute to Van Morrison. Tupelo Honey is a celebration of the timeless music of Van Morrison and the masters of blue-eyed soul.
