(BRADLEY BEACH, NJ) -- Get ready for a weekend of community spirit, vibrant entertainment, and heartfelt remembrance as Bradley Beach proudly presents its annual Memorial Day Weekend Celebration, kicking off on Saturday, May 24th, 2025.

The festivities begin with the beloved Memorial Day Parade down Ocean Avenue on Saturday morning. A colorful procession of local organizations, community groups, and spirited participants will march in unity. Leading the parade as this year's esteemed Grand Marshal is Army Corporal Richard James Henkel, a testament to the bravery and dedication of our armed forces. Spectators can look forward to a delightful display of antique cars, playful clowns, energetic marching bands, and the stirring sounds of pipes and drums.

Following the parade, the excitement continues at the Boardwalk Festival, running throughout Saturday and Sunday. Over 60 unique vendors will line the boardwalk, offering a diverse array of crafts, goods, and local treasures. Food lovers will rejoice in the delicious offerings from various food vendors, ensuring there's something to satisfy every palate. The air will be alive with the sound of live music at the Boardwalk gazebo. Saturday's musical lineup features the swinging sounds of the Mike Kaplan Big Band followed by the lively tunes of Little x Little.

The fun doesn't stop on Sunday! The Boardwalk Festival remains in full swing with vendors and more great music. Dance the afternoon away with DJ Jay, setting the perfect beachside vibe. As Sunday evening approaches, the celebration moves to Riley Park for a special performance by the popular Pat Roddy, starting at 4:00pm.

On Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th, at 11:00am, Bradley Beach will come together in Riley Park for a solemn and moving ceremony to honor our fallen soldiers. The ceremony will feature guest speaker BBPD Lieutenant Anthony Murray, who will share his insights and reflections. This year's tribute will be particularly poignant with a beautiful dove release in the park, symbolizing peace and remembrance.
