Music Mountain Theatre presents the iconic Broadway musical "Pippin"

originally published: 05/05/2025

(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- There's magic to do when a prince learns the true meaning of glory, love, and war in "Pippin," the iconic and unforgettable musical masterpiece by composer Stephen Schwartz, playwright Roger O. Hirson, and director-choreographer Bob Fosse. Music Mountain Theatre presents 12 performances of this classic musical from May 9-25, 2025.

Heir to the Frankish throne, young prince Pippin is on a quest for the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, temptations of the flesh, and intrigues of political power. In the end, though, he finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors but rather in ordinary moments.

With an infectiously unforgettable score, “Pippin” is the story of one young man's journey to find his own corner of the sky.

MMT’s production has direction and choreography by Louis Palena, music direction by Sue den Outer, costume design by Jordan Brennan, and scenic and lighting designs by McAfee Madding. The cast includes Louis Palena (Leading Player), Cory Steiger (Pippin), Lauren Brader (Catherine), Jaimie Geddes (Fastrada), David Whiteman (Charlemagne), Tristan Takacs (Lewis), Anna Hentz (Berthe), and Eddie Pfender (Theo), with ensemble members Jordan Brennan, Sky Carter, Lucinda Fisher Alvarez, Phoenix Fritsch, Jill Gibilisco, Eva Guasconi, Shayla Moon Hermann, Wyatt Kim, Alex Klein, Madison Kotnarowski, Patrick Lavery, Carly Schiff, and Danielle Stilo.

“Pippin” is a limited engagement of 12 performances only from May 9-25 on Fridays at 8:00pm, Saturdays at 3:00pm & 8:00pm, and Sundays at 3:00pm. Tickets are $32 for adults ($30 for students, seniors, and military) and can be purchased at musicmountaintheatre.org, in person at the box office, or by calling 609-397-3337.
