(TRENTON, NJ) -- Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey presents a Mother's Day Family Concert at the New Jersey State Museum Theater on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at 3:00pm.
Celebrate Mother’s Day at their delightful family-friendly event. Beginning with the Overture to William Tell by Gioachino Rossini this concert will engage even the youngest music lovers!
They are also performing the enchanting Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 by Edvard Grieg, and the charming tale of Tubby the Tuba by George Kleinsinger.
Their 2025 Mary G. Roebling Concerto Competition winner is sure to inspire audiences of all ages. Bring your loved ones and make this Mother’s Day a memorable celebration with them!

The Capital Philharmonic of New Jersey (CPNJ) was founded in 2013 with the goal of making Trenton a culturally integrated musical hub. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life in the Greater Trenton area, preserve the city's classical music heritage, and contribute to its economic renaissance through their diverse programming, chamber music series, and community outreach. They have become the anchor performing arts organization at the historic Trenton War Memorial. Their orchestra consists of over seventy musicians, and they are guided by their Executive Director, Jill Aguayo and a passionate working board of civic leaders.
