(CARTERET, NJ) -- Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center presents Manhattan Comedy Nights at The Underground on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 7:00pm. The lineup includes Sandy Marks, Dan Naturman, Chris Roach, Jackie Fabulous, and Sonya Vai.
Tickets range from $35-$45 and are available for purchase online. Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center is located at 46 Washington Avenue in Carteret, New Jersey.
Sandy Marks (CBS’s “The King of Queens,” HBO’s “Comedy in the Park”) Marks has graced the films “Kiss Me Again,” “Manhattan Comedy Nights,” and “The Narrows” with his remarkably tall stature and unforgettably enormous hands.
Dan Naturman has appeared on America’s Got Talent, Late Show with David Letterman, as well as his own Comedy Central Presents special.
Chris Roach is best known for his major recurring role of Mott in the hit CBS sitcom KEVIN CAN WAIT. He currently co-hosts two weekly podcasts: Long Island Explained and Comedians on Hockey.
Jackie Fabulous has been featured on the Arsenio Hall show, Gotham Comedy Live, FOX, BET, Last Comic Standing, Kevin Harts LOL Network and more.
Sonya Vai won a comedy mentorship for women of color from Sofia Chang’s Unlock Her Potential and has been featured in The New York Times and The Hollywood Reporter.
The Carteret Performing Arts & Events Center is a multi-level, flexible space venue featuring a lower-level comedy/jazz club with a piano lounge; a main floor concert/comedy and entertainment space with luxury theater-style seating that can be easily removed to accommodate a variety of events such as expos, weddings, dinners, and more. The upper-level VIP seating includes VIP Box Suites, private VIP spaces, and a spacious second-floor lobby with a baby grand piano. The rooftop lounge, decorated with high-end furnishings, fire pits, heaters, and bars, boasts its own stage and private cabana-style seating for dining and enjoying the sunset.
