(GALLOWAY, NJ) -- The Atlantic City Ballet leads a performance of Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" at the Stockton University Performing Arts Center on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Showtime is 7:30pm.

The show, choreographed by Phyllis Papa, features the Atlantic City Ballet, live music by the Atlantic City Ballet Percussion Ensemble conducted by Vince Lee, and live choral by Rowan University Concert Choir, directed by Dr. Christopher Thomas.

A feast for the senses that pairs sensual, powerful choreography with Carl Orff’s masterpiece "Carmina Burana" cantata. Unbridled passion and highly physical technique express raw emotion that transcends the need for a story. Choreographer Phyllis Papa's artfully-staged vignettes capture the spirit of the score’s five movements, oscillating between the erratic, romantic, and lustful as they celebrate community and the joys of life.

Tickets are $45 for the general public, $40 for senior citizens (65+), military and Stockton alumni, $35 for Stockton faculty and staff, $25 for children under 12 and $12 for Stockton students. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit stockton.edu/pac. Tickets are also available at the Stockton Performing Arts Center box office from 10:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Thursday and 90 minutes before showtime. Call 609-652-9000.

Founded in 1982, by International Ballerina, Phyllis Papa, the Atlantic City Ballet is comprised of professional dancers from around the world.
