Roxey Ballet Company and Princeton Pro Musica present "Carmina Burana"

(EWING, NJ) -- Roxey Ballet Company is thrilled to announce the return of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana this spring, marking its first staging since 2019. This electrifying one-act ballet—overflowing with passion, sensuality, and betrayal—captures the timeless themes of fate and fortune with a bold contemporary twist.

Renowned choreographer Mark Roxey and esteemed conductor Ryan Brandau unite once again to bring this masterpiece to life, fusing music and movement into a breathtaking artistic experience. Brandau, the visionary Artistic Director of Princeton Pro Musica, infuses the production with his extensive choral expertise and dynamic orchestral interpretation, while Roxey’s innovative choreography breathes new life into Orff’s dramatic and iconic score. This collaboration promises a Carmina Burana that is both visually stunning and emotionally powerful, captivating audiences with its raw energy and artistic brilliance.

Audiences can get a sneak peek behind the scenes on Friday, March 14 at 6:00pm at Mill Ballet School (46 N Sugan Rd, New Hope, PA)  during Beer & Ballet. Click here for tickets and more information.

Founded in 1995, Roxey Ballet is a multicultural, all-inclusive dance company dedicated to creating transformative cultural experiences through professional performances, workshops, residencies, and educational programs. Under the artistic direction of Mark Roxey, the company has become a leader in innovative, thought-provoking choreography and immersive storytelling.

Ryan Brandau, Artistic Director of Princeton Pro Musica, is a celebrated conductor renowned for his ability to elevate choral performances to extraordinary heights. His dynamic approach to Carmina Burana perfectly complements Roxey’s bold artistic vision, making this production a masterful synthesis of music and movement.
