(JERSEY CITY, NJ) -- Art House Productions is thrilled to announce the lineup for the first JC Fridays of 2025, taking place on Friday, March 7, 2025. Jersey City's premier quarterly arts festival, which is free and open to the public, will feature a diverse array of events, including visual art exhibitions, music performances, studio tours, and more, hosted at local businesses, galleries, studios, and arts organizations. Attendees are encouraged to explore multiple venues to discover new art and engage with the local arts scene.
Jersey City is home to one of the most vibrant art scenes in the tri-state area, boasting a wealth of talented artists. JC Fridays provides a unique opportunity for visitors to interact with artists, experience their latest works, and immerse themselves in the creative community.

Historic Downtown
Open Rehearsal with Cadencia Dancers Flamenco Group (196 Morgan St, Jersey City) from 7:00pm – 8:00pm. Experience the passion of flamenco with the Cadencia Dancers Flamenco Group during this open rehearsal! Discover the rhythms, footwork, arm and hand movements, and traditional props such as shawls, fans, and castanets. Whether you wish to participate or simply observe, all are welcome. Please bring a pair of indoor shoes to change into at the studio.
Journal Square
Anonymous Was a Woman (35 Journal Square Plaza, Unit 815, Jersey City) from 4:00pm – 10:00pm. In honor of Women’s History Month, DGA Studio celebrates the vision and voices of female artists. Anonymous Was a Woman is a collection of works representing enduring strength, tempered by softness, and moments of joy found in the wild, presented with a vivid, multi-layered perspective. Featuring poetry readings by Megha Sood & Carmen Vega.

JC Fridays at Magnum Opus (86 Forrest St, Jersey City) from 6:00pm – 11:00pm. Join Magnum Opus Studios for an electrifying evening of creativity, community, and culture! Explore this dynamic 12,000 sq. ft. creative hub and immerse yourself in an inspiring showcase of visual art, photography, live performances, and interactive experiences. Guests can enjoy a curated art exhibition, live photography demos, live music, spoken word performances, hands-on art activations, and more!
West Side
Pat Lay: Hybrid (Hepburn Hall 3rd Floor, 2039 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City) from 4:00pm – 7:00pm. NJCU Lemmerman Gallery presents Pat Lay: Hybrid, a showcase of the prolific multimedia artist’s work. Over the past two decades, Lay has explored technological metaphors of human experience. Her sculptures, crafted from fired clay, computer parts, and other readymade elements, create hybrid forms with cross-cultural references, questioning what it means to be human.
Art House Productions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing and presenting performing and visual arts in Jersey City, NJ. Art House offers theater, visual art exhibitions, arts festivals, and arts education for both adults and youth.
