(UNION, NJ) -- Carolyn Dorfman Dance returns to the Madison Community Arts Center (at 10 Kings Road) with a Family Backstage Pass performance, a welcoming interactive afternoon of dance and audience participation, on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at 4:00pm.
It will be an unforgettable afternoon, offering a captivating glimpse into the remarkable works and process of artistic director Carolyn Dorfman. Some of the popular works will include excerpts of the crowd-pleasing WAVES, the playful duet Keystone and the comical Divide and Conquer, a work which has not been on stage for almost 15 years. The program ends with Dorfman’s signature “building a dance” including audience members on the stage and in their seats with Carolyn and Company.
Carolyn Dorfman Dance’s stunning and athletic ensemble includes, Kayleigh Bowen, Tyler Choquette, Dominique Dobransky, Hannah Gross, Maiko Harada, Brandon Jones, Jacob Kurihara, Aanyse Pettiford-Chandler, Charles Scheland, Jared Stern; Katlyn Baskin is the rehearsal director. The administrative staff includes Executive Director Anita Thomas, associate Artistic Director Jacqueline Dumas Albert, Company/Office Manager Zakk Ottmers, Marketing Communications Manager Armisey Smith, and Financial Administrator Flora Attardi.
