Brundage Park Playhouse presents "Footloose" 
(RANDOLPH, NJ) -- Brundage Park Playhouse presents Footloose across two weekends (February 7-9 and February 14-16, 2025). This is a musical version of the 1984 film. A rebellious teenager moves to a small middle-America town where dance is forbidden, and encourages his classmates to defy the local pastor and call for a rock’n’roll prom.
Aspire PAC presents "Sweeney Todd (High School Edition)" 
(FAIR LAWN, NJ) -- "God, that's good!" Get ready for some macabre madness when Aspire Performing Arts Company's production of Sweeney Todd High School Edition comes to the Fair Lawn Community Center from January 24-26, 2025. Featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by Hugh Wheeler, it won the Tony Award for Best New Musical in 1979.

Montclair State University's Cali Opera & Symphony Orchestra presents "Calisto" 
(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- Montclair State University's Cali Opera Program is set to present their mainstage opera "La Calisto" by Francesco Cavalli February 1-2, 2025. This exquisite baroque opera is directed by Rebecca Jo Loeb and conducted by Kyle Ritenauer. Cavalli's poignant and ruckus opera begins in the heavens when we learn that a young, beautiful nymph, Calisto, has the chance to become immortalized as a constellation among the stars.

Final Weeks to See "Collective Narratives" at Newark Artspace 
(NEWARK, NJ) -- These are the last few weeks to see Collective Narratives at Newark Artspace. The Oyster Point Gallery to Show New Works by Robert Melee
